We're collaborating with Focus Staff to find a skilled Labor and Childbirth Nurse Specialist in Antioch, California. Paying between $2,528 and $2,606 per week, this position involves providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with medical staff. A high level of emotional intelligence and excellent communication skills are required for this role.

**Job Overview**

We have a client in Antioch, CA seeking a Travel L&D RN - Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse. Focus Staff is searching for a traveling Certified Labor & Delivery RN who can assess, implement, or delegate, plan, and evaluate total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy, providing and directing patient care for a group of patients.

**Responsibilities**

- Develop, implement, and evaluate the nursing plan of care
- Manage both emotional and physical patients
- Assess patient and family level of understanding to provide effective communication and education
- Work collaboratively with medical staff
- Provide quality care in a compassionate and professional manner

**Requirements**

- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Exhibits major team player qualities
- Willingness to assist others when needed
- Maintain a positive attitude toward work and others
- Perform routine duties independent of supervision but consult with others as required

**Work Experience**

- At least 2 years of experience as a Labor & Delivery RN (Certified Labor & Delivery RN)
