Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

Duties and Responsibilities of the Kitchen Sanitation Specialist:
- Efficiently load, operate, and unload the dishwashing machine.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Ensure the dishwashing machine's water temperature is adequate for a sanitary wash cycle.
- Thoroughly wash and store all tableware and kitchen utensils.
- Keep the dishwashing area organized and tidy.
- Ensure a sufficient supply of clean tableware for both the dining room and kitchen.
- Regularly dispose of trash from the dishwashing area at designated times.
- Handle all tableware with care to minimize breakage and loss.
- Maintain adequate stock levels of dishwashing detergents and cleaning supplies.
- Clean food preparation and production areas as necessary.
- Consistently uphold TOG quality standards as mandated by corporate operations and the executive chef.
- Ensure the entire kitchen remains clean and sanitary in accordance with health department regulations.
- Assist fellow kitchen staff with cleaning, cooking, preparation, and receiving tasks as needed.
- Be prepared to step in as required to support the efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Availability to work 8+ hours per day, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
