We are currently offering a Weekend Day Shift opportunity from 7am to 7:30pm.

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) operates under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, delivering patient care while adhering to the LPN Scope of Practice. This role requires a keen understanding of age-specific needs, addressing various aspects of patient well-being including biological, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial factors.

Key Responsibilities

As an LPN, your essential functions will include:
  • Providing compassionate patient care in alignment with WellStar Health System's standards.
  • Executing additional duties as assigned by the supervising Registered Nurse.
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures, and the code of conduct established by WellStar Health System.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements:
Completion of an accredited LPN program.

Minimum Experience Requirements:
Relevant clinical experience preferred.

Essential Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Current Licensure as a Practical Nurse.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • BLS Instructor certification preferred.
  • BLS Provisional certification may be required.
