Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Neighborhood Service Organization. As a key member of our Finance Department, you will be responsible for leading the financial planning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, and developing financial models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual operating and capital budgeting processes
  • Assist with the monthly close process
  • Review and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare financial reports
  • Develop financial projections and build financial models
  • Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations
  • Prepare and submit funder billings as required
  • Communicate with funders as required
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Two to five years of financial analysis or accounting experience
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with non-profit accounting preferred
  • Experience with Intacct or similar cloud-based financial systems
Working Conditions

This is an office-based position that requires the ability to move about the physical facilities. The person may travel on agency or unit business.
