Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Optician to join our team at Oakley. As an Optician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, educating customers on our products, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers have a positive experience in our store.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, including lenses, frames, and sunglasses.
- Use this knowledge to educate customers on the features and benefits of our products, and to make recommendations that meet their needs.
- Work closely with store management to identify opportunities for growth and to develop strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and attractive store environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Current State Optician License
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- Knowledge of current optical theory and practices
- 1+ years of retail sales experience
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication skills, including verbal and written communication
- Ability to be on your feet most of the day or moving on the sales floor or stock room
- Ability to maneuver merchandise and lift up to 40 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Optical dispensing experience
