Vidant Health is seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Sonographer II to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating ultrasound equipment to help physicians diagnose heart problems in patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of the heart and its chambers
- Assist physicians in diagnosing heart problems and developing treatment plans
- Perform echocardiograms and other cardiac ultrasound procedures
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current ARDMS (RDCS or RVT) or CCI (RSC) registration/certification
- 2 years of experience as a Cardiac and/or Vascular Sonographer
- Primary shift: Day
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:00am - 4:30pm each day
- No on-call or weekend shifts
