Therapy 2000, a leading provider of home-based pediatric therapy services, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in League City/Dickinson. This is a full-time, part-time, or PRN position based in our South Houston division.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders.
- Collaborate with patients' caregivers to develop home exercise programs.
- Act as a vital member of patients' medical neighborhoods, coordinating care with various providers and disciplines.
- Meet deadlines for patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and other paperwork as needed.
- Participate in agency meetings to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
- An innovative spirit and a demonstrated history of reliability.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and needs of the business.
- Ability to use common workplace technology, including laptops, phones, email, and web browsers.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills are a plus.
- 3+ years of experience as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties.
