Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our Wastewater Treatment Plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including pumps, motors, and control systems
  • Read meters and record data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Conduct sampling and laboratory analysis to monitor water quality
  • Ensure compliance with DEP and EPA rules and regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and facilities
Requirements
  • Successful completion of the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Trainee program and certification as a wastewater treatment plant operator for any class and type of plant
  • Possession of a valid certification issued by the Pennsylvania State Board for Certification of Water and Wastewater Treatment Plant Operators as a wastewater treatment plant operator for any class and type of plant
  • Possession of a valid Wastewater Systems Operators Class B, Subclass E, 1 and 4 Certification
  • Possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License
