**Job Summary:**
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our team at DAIKIN COMFORT TECHNOLOGIES DIST INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring successful and timely completion of assigned duties, and maintaining sales and customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, including staffing, to ensure successful and timely completion of assigned duties.
- Sales and Customer Relationships: Maintain sales, review and edit credits, negative inventory, and cash reconciliations. Communicate regularly with the branch customer base to establish and maintain strong relationships.
- Leadership and Team Development: Build and maintain morale in the branch by demonstrating leadership qualities and setting an example for staff. Provide knowledge and skill development opportunities for employees with proper training and guidance.
- Coaching and Performance Management: Effectively coach, counsel, and hold employees accountable. Collaborate with Human Resources regarding disciplinary actions.
- Business Development: Develop plans for increased branch profitability and drive continuous improvement processes.
- Inventory and Warehouse Management: Process purchase orders, research low stock and receivables, and process branch payables. Remain current with warranty processing and follow up quickly on rejections.
- Financial Management: Oversee all aspects of profit center (operations, sales, admin, etc.) working closely with Credit Department at Corporate to determine appropriate credit level and resolve any credit issues.
- Safety and Compliance: Review P hold safety meetings, security reports, and maintain facility. Complete all tasks on the Branch Manager's monthly/daily checklist and act as a safety leader.
- Branch and Warehouse Appearance: Oversee branch and warehouse appearance, housekeeping, maintenance, and repair.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide Regional Operations Manager with any requested branch-specific information/reports and provide vital information in a timely manner.
- Audit and Compliance: Maintain a 93%, or higher, audit score.
- Knowledge and Skills: Maintain a working knowledge of company's benefits and employee handbook policies. Ensure employees are following safety protocols, including maintaining an organized and clean work environment.
- Performance Management: Conduct mid-year and annual performance appraisals for all direct reports through the online Performance Engagement platform.
- Additional Responsibilities: May work outside regular working hours in case of emergencies within the branch as required. Participate in additional activities as requested.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: 3 plus years in a leadership/supervisory role.
- Branch Management Experience: 3 – 5 years of store/branch management experience.
- Industry Experience: Experience in HVAC wholesale industry strongly preferred.
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent. College degree strongly preferred.
- People Management: Yes.
- Physical Requirements/Work Environments: Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
Reports To: Manager, Regional Operations
Pay Range: $75,000.00 - 90,000.00
