Key Responsibilities- Care for patients with a variety of illnesses, injuries, and diseases in facilities such as medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, RNs, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and aides, to deliver exceptional patient care
- Take patient vitals, conduct assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor
- Assist the RN in carrying out physician's orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments
- Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Colorado
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Covid-19 vaccination card (optional)
- Proof of flu vaccination during flu season (optional)
- Valid TB screening
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication skills, and compassion
