We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Collaborative Support Programs. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing direct support, skill development, and community resource linkages to residents who have a psychiatric and/or substance use disability.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills, the ability to write clear and concise billable progress notes, and outstanding written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual skills are a plus. A valid NJ Driver's License with an acceptable driving record is also required.

In this role, you will work closely with residents to assess their needs, develop and deliver service plans, and provide advocacy and community-based support. You will also participate in rotating weekends on call by phone and receive added compensation for outreaches needed.

As a Support Worker at Collaborative Support Programs, you can expect a competitive hourly wage of $19.23-$21.63 based on education and experience. You will also be eligible for benefits, including medical, free DMO dental, and free vision, as well as six weeks PTO and 11 holidays.

Requirements:
  • A High School Diploma/GED or Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related discipline
  • Three or more years of related work or life experience
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and general computer literacy
  • Ability to collaborate with individuals living with mental illness in a caring and professional manner
