Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Store Associate to join our team at Batteries Plus - GEN Aspire, LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling products, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell products to customers, including batteries, light bulbs, and accessories, while maintaining a thorough knowledge of our products and services.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in visual merchandising, including stocking shelves, rotating inventory, and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Perform daily recovery of displays, maintain retail shelf label pricing, and build displays as needed.
  • Repair cell phones, tablets, and program key fobs, as well as perform battery tests, installations, and battery pack rebuilds.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the store by working collaboratively with team members and maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Good listening and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to calculate simple math, percents, ratios, and algebraic expressions, as well as read gauges.
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and/or technical experience desired.
