Job Summary:
Engages with sophisticated High Net Worth Investors to develop tailored investment strategies.

Accountable for comprehending strategic investment objectives, spending policies, and unique client aspirations to provide expert guidance and to formulate, execute, and oversee investment portfolios.

Portfolio Managers (PMs) have the capability to manage bespoke client portfolios on a fully discretionary basis and, where applicable, offer advisory services and single mandate strategies.

Handles individual securities (stocks, bonds, REITs, MLPs, etc.), separately managed accounts (SMAs), alternative investments, and Specialty Assets (e.g., Timber, Agriculture, Oil and Gas), while also monitoring portfolios and rebalancing to ensure alignment with clients' investment objectives and risk profiles. Typically manages the firm's most intricate and sophisticated client relationships.

Responsibilities:
Supervise the completion of investment policy statements.

Serve as a technical and industry authority in managing complex individual and family client relationships for those seeking a sophisticated investment program, including manager selection and vehicle types, encompassing traditional, alternative, and derivative solutions.

Assist PC teams in effectively conveying our business culture, investment philosophy, and the array of investment and non-investment solutions relevant to prospects and existing clients.

Formulate and propose strategies to meet clients' investment goals.

Engage with clients to assess investment performance and anticipate market shifts based on economic and industry analysis, including objectives and asset allocation models, ensuring current allocations remain suitable.

Oversee all aspects of portfolio management, including executing trades, maintaining investment action plans, monitoring and addressing overdrafts, conducting regulatory investment reviews, and documenting account activities and client interactions.

Support market revenue growth by achieving individual investment management, credit, and deposit objectives.
May involve developing and marketing specialized asset allocation products and services.
Mentor and guide junior staff.

Required Qualifications:


A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in investment decision-making and financial consulting, specifically with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.

This individual will have progressively advanced in roles within a reputable financial services firm, particularly in wealth management, private banking, or trust services.

Comprehensive knowledge of fiduciary and financial products and services gained through extensive related experience.
Broad technical expertise in investments, tax, legal, and operational aspects necessary for client service.
Familiarity with fiduciary standards, principles, and applicable laws and regulations typically acquired through training, seminars, or legal education.
Proficient in negotiation, delegation, leadership, superior client service, and relationship management skills.

Desired Qualifications:


A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent financial services/business experience is preferred, along with relevant credentials such as CPA, CFP, or CFA designation.

A graduate degree such as an MBA or JD is preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess a balanced mix of financial services expertise, management acumen, and business development experience.
