Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments.
- Deliver care according to physician directives and established care plans.
- Evaluate treatment effectiveness and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning, ensuring communication with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members to optimize rehabilitation outcomes.
- Engage in performance improvement and program development initiatives.
- Contribute to budget planning, focusing on cost-effectiveness of departmental services.
- Assess educational needs of patients and families, providing tailored education.
- Maintain a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, implementing necessary safety precautions.
- Utilize leadership skills to delegate, organize, and educate team members, including interns and volunteers.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Possession or eligibility for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state.
- Valid Basic Life Support/CPR certification.
- Competitive salary of $65.22 per hour, with potential for variation based on specific circumstances.
