Position Overview:
As a Cleaning and Sanitation Specialist at FreshRealm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the hygiene and cleanliness of our Fulfillment Center. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
* Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with the directives of the Sanitation Manager, Supervisor, or Lead/Specialist.
* Executing cleaning tasks for both the facility and equipment based on a Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), while effectively utilizing various sanitation agents.
* Conducting chemical concentration assessments, adjusting sanitizer levels as necessary, and proficiently identifying and eliminating various types of contaminants.
* Safely operating sanitation machinery and possessing a solid understanding of pH levels for appropriate solution modifications.

Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a food production setting is preferred.
* Mechanical skills for disassembling and reassembling food processing equipment, along with a readiness to learn and adhere to instructions.

Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment and a commitment to achieving relevant certifications within six months.
  • Knowledge of sanitation chemicals and the ability to obtain sanitation certifications within the first year.
  • A collaborative mindset with prior experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
  • Availability for overtime, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
