We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team at Aveanna Healthcare. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes, helping them to recover from hospitalization and maintain their independence.
Responsibilities:- Implement the physician's prescribed plan of care for each patient
- Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed
- Document patient care in our electronic system
- Provide education and training to family members on patient care and health promotion
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (within the last 12 months)
- 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
