Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Associate to join our RNA Discovery team as part of a new RNA Venture. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the development and implementation of biomolecular analytics for RNA medicines using nanoparticle-based delivery platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design, execution, and analysis of in vivo studies
  • Maintain rodent breeding colonies and conduct dosing, blood collection, and necropsy for rodent studies
  • Process study tissue and execute molecular techniques for assessing nucleic acids/proteins, including PCR, ELISA, Western Blots, and Flow cytometry
  • Maintain accurate data records of studies in an electronic notebook and manage key equipment
  • Foster collaborative relationships across the team and company
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science or related field, with 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with murine animals, including animal handling, dosing, blood and tissue collection
  • Experience in biomolecular analytics (ELISA, PCR, Flow Cytometry)
  • Experience in mammalian cell culture and in vitro dosing
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with maintenance of rodent breeding colonies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple parallel studies
