- Provide assistance to the public, such as directing traffic, providing information, and offering support during emergencies.
- Participate in community policing initiatives, such as neighborhood watch programs and public outreach events.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies, such as local police departments and federal agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in training and professional development opportunities.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 21 years of age.
- Completion of a police academy training program, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to pass a background investigation, and a medical examination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public, and to work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies.
The Police Officer will work in a variety of settings, including patrol cars, police stations, and community centers. The job requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to make quick decisions in emergency situations. The Police Officer will be required to wear a uniform, and to carry a firearm and other equipment.
