Senior Manager of National Tax Technical Services

Team Overview

The National Tax division at Moss Adams is integral to achieving the firm's tax practice objectives, emphasizing technical tax issues and collaborating closely with tax leaders and team members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a dependable tax technical expert, cultivating relationships and proactively addressing inquiries
  • Navigate and resolve complex, high-risk tax technical issues
  • Work collaboratively across all levels of the firm to identify opportunities and improve tax technical services
  • Lead tax research initiatives, oversee projects, and mentor team members on tax-related efforts
  • Create internal and external tax communications while assessing the implications of new tax legislation
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline; Advanced degree in Taxation is preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in the tax profession, with a CPA or Bar License required
  • Proven experience in coaching and managing tax professionals, along with strong technical tax knowledge
  • Capability to operate independently in uncertain situations, coupled with excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and a willingness to travel as necessary
