Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UAB Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiological procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative.
  • Assume responsibility for designated areas of procedures, including patient escort services, quality control, and participation in training and committee work.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
  • Maintain accreditation standards and adhere to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
  • One year of experience in general radiography preferred.

  • Self-directed and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
