We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UAB Health System. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities- Perform radiological procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas of procedures, including patient escort services, quality control, and participation in training and committee work.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient patient care.
- Maintain accreditation standards and adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- ARRT registered or registry eligible for the ARRT certification in radiography.
- One year of experience in general radiography preferred.
- Self-directed and self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
