Pediatric Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team at OSF Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for conducting psychological evaluations, developing treatment plans, and providing expert care to pediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations with pediatric patients, including assessments of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Provide expert consultation and liaison services to medical teams, including pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric psychology, and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Valid and current license to practice psychology in the State of Illinois.
- Experience working with pediatric patients, preferably in a medical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Experience conducting evaluations with preschool-age through older adolescent populations.
- Expertise in evaluating and monitoring pediatric hematology/oncology patients.
- Experience with developmental evaluations of infants and toddlers, and/or presurgical candidacy evaluations.
- Board Certification or eligibility in Neuropsychology, or a pending application of licensure.
