Job Title: Clinical Supervisor

Nex Level Behavioral Health & Addiction Services, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Supervisor to join our team. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and managing an effective clinical team, utilizing principles of Social and/or Counseling to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide overall evaluation of program services to enhance patient outcomes and act as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives.
  • Conduct assessments of each patient's psychosocial status and functioning to document history and identify preliminary items for the treatment plan.
  • Facilitate the development and implementation of comprehensive, individualized plans of treatment in conjunction with other treatment team members.
  • Formulate treatment plans with clients, using knowledge of alcohol and drug abuse risk factors and counseling and treatment techniques.
  • Provide and/or arrange for therapeutic interventions as appropriate for patients or clients in a crisis situation.
  • Follow up to determine reliability and validity of treatment used and make recommendations regarding modification to services and service delivery.
  • Oversee referrals of clients to other support services as needed, such as medication evaluation and treatment, social services, and employment services.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and case histories on clients and program services provided.
  • Participate in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
  • Consult with other therapists and related professional and paraprofessional staff as appropriate in the performance of therapeutic and/or casework.
  • Attend all staff meetings and team conferences, leading team meetings as required.
  • Participate in, lead, and/or coordinate training sessions and workshops to enhance treatment skills.
  • Maintain current knowledge base on counseling issues regarding substance abuse and other psychosocial disorders through conferences, educational requirements for licensure, and applicable current literature.
Qualifications:
  • Active Ohio License through the Chemical Dependency Board and the Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Board.
  • LISW-S; LPCC-S; LICDC-S.
  • A master's degree with a focus in behavioral health or addiction services or social work or counseling and at least 3 years of work experience in the field of addiction services.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in social services field.
  • Positive attitude and open approach to patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Strong knowledge of addiction, treatment, and recovery.
  • Knowledge of Therasoft is a plus.
  • Must pass criminal background checks.
