Mastectomy Fitter

Job Title: Mastectomy Fitter - Part-Time 20-hours/week

Position Summary: The Mastectomy Fitter performs a wide range of duties from direct patient care to general clerical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

* Consults with mastectomy patients and performs an assessment of cosmetic needs and goals.

* Develops a fitting plan and determines options, performs patient fittings, and educates patients on options.

* Supports and conforms to the ABC Code of Professional Responsibility.

* General clerical duties: schedules meetings, creates and maintains filing systems.

Requirements:

* High school diploma required. College level coursework preferred.

* Mastectomy Fitter Certification from The American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics, and Pedorthics required or must be obtained within 6 months of employment.

* One year of experience in retail/healthcare setting.

* Strong knowledge of breast DME, bras, and breast surgery outcomes.

* Excellent customer service skills.
