Position Summary
We are currently seeking an Accounting/Financial Analyst to contribute to our growing organization. This role is initially a contract position with the potential to transition to a permanent role after a specified period. The compensation for this position ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, based on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Responsibilities
- Conduct financial analysis and modeling utilizing Excel.
- Perform P&L and balance sheet fluctuation analysis.
- Prepare presentations for management meetings using PowerPoint.
- Analyze customer trends and forecasts.
Accounting Responsibilities
- Manage month-end closing processes, including journal entries for payroll, bank transactions, credit card activities, and revenue and expense accruals.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including bank statements and credit card accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation for external auditors and tax professionals.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting/Financial Analyst.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience in financial modeling and familiarity with QuickBooks.
- Some exposure to month-end financial closing processes.
- Willingness to work on-site a few days a week.
