Job Summary

Wabtec Corporation is a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions and value-added services for freight and transit rail. We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Test Engineer to join our team in a lab environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, setting up, and executing assigned test requests with minimum supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical tests on diesel engines and test stands
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test needs are met
  • Provide technical expertise and support to ensure test equipment is calibrated and up-to-date
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in an industry-related field
  • Knowledge of PLC systems, mechanical prints, electrical prints, and databases
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Working Conditions
  • Exposure to constant noise (90 DBA)
  • Ability to climb repeatedly and work from heights
  • Repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting
