We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Weekend Hotel Night Auditor to join our team at CSM Corporation. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel during the 3rd shift.
Key Responsibilities- Perform the manager-on-duty role during 3rd shift, providing exceptional guest service and ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
- Anticipate and respond to guests in a friendly and positive manner, addressing their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Process check-ins and check-outs, verify billing, create reservations, and process special requests with accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist guests by having knowledge of hotel property, local attractions, and hours of operation of hotel outlets and services, providing recommendations and solutions to enhance their stay.
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet guests' needs, actively contributing to the efforts of other departments when necessary.
- Understand and follow CSM Corporation's guest service recovery program, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of guest complaints and issues.
- Accountable for accurately balancing all revenue sources and completing daily financial reports, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of hotel financial data.
- Process no-show reservations, prepare financial reports for managerial review, and close the financial day for the hotel with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow proper selling techniques and ensure strategies are utilized to maximize room revenues, driving sales and revenue growth.
- Monitor room availability, follow restrictions, and all booking policies and procedures, ensuring seamless guest experiences.
- Responsible for proper use of all equipment and adheres to cost controls to reduce expenses and waste, maintaining a clean and safe work area in compliance with CSM Corporation, brand, local, state, and federal regulations.
- Adheres to CSM Corporation general work rules and department procedures, attending all required department and hotel meetings, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- 2+ years prior guest service experience required, preferably in a hospitality setting.
- Prior night audit or accounting experience preferred.
- Excellent computer knowledge and communication skills needed.
- Attention to detail, customer-focused, and the ability to perform job duties in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis.
