We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner Leadership Role to join our team in Extended Acute Adult Psychiatric Inpatient. As a Charge Nurse, you will provide additional supervision of daily operations on assigned unit, overseeing the successful delivery of quality patient care to a group of patients.

This is a part-time position with an estimated salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. You will work every other weekend and rotating holidays, from 3 pm to 11:30 pm.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Administrative Coordinator on patient placement, providing direct patient care at an experienced practitioner level as needed, and ensuring adequate staffing levels and skill mix are maintained for all shifts.

You will prioritize and organize work, actively taking part in the performance appraisal process by providing input for staff evaluations, holding staff accountable for performance standards, and assisting with interviewing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication/interpersonal, conflict resolution, problem-solving, confrontational and other leadership skills, as well as a strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
