Job SummaryThe Industrial Diesel Mechanic will perform a variety of tasks, including emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and preventive maintenance. You will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical issues, as well as performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs of production equipment
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Prepare and maintain records and reports
- Oversee and maintain the Preventative Maintenance Program
- Comply with OSHA safety and health rules
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance
- 3-5 years of experience in vehicle/construction equipment repair and maintenance
- Experience with acetylene and electric arc welding
