About the Role:The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing new groundbreaking AMD technologies, working with AMD's architecture specialists to improve future products, and optimizing the performance of GPU profiling tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop high-quality software tools for GPU profiling
- Work with AMD's architecture specialists to improve future products
- Optimize the performance of GPU profiling tools and systems
- Stay informed of software and hardware developments, especially pertaining to latest algorithms and architecture, and help enhance libraries and tools in ROCm
- Participating in new ASIC and hardware bring ups
- Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work
- Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
- Strong object-oriented programming background and C/C++ skills
- Experience with GPU programming technologies HIP/OpenCL/CUDA is a plus
- Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail
- Experience with modern concurrent programming and threading APIs
- Strong understanding of GPU architecture and computer system architecture
- Experience with Windows, Linux and/or Android operating system development
- Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent

Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
