Fleet Maintenance Technician I

Position Overview: A Fleet Maintenance Technician is tasked with the upkeep and repair of the tire management system, alongside other organizational assets. Key responsibilities include:
  • Utilizing tire machinery for the installation and removal of tires
  • Fitting and detaching tires on company vehicles, in addition to transporting them as necessary
  • Organizing and stacking tires appropriately
  • Assisting in the management of tire inventory within the tire and trailer facility. Conducting lot assessments
  • Completing essential maintenance documentation including vehicle reports and work orders
  • Keeping the workshop area tidy, safe, and professional
  • Implementing lean methodologies to minimize waste across all tasks
Position Details:
  • Schedule: Sunday through Wednesday, from 1:30 PM to 12:00 AM
  • Work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings in varying weather conditions
  • Regularly required to lift and move heavy items and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Capability to lift 75 lbs. as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Willingness to obtain a Class A CDL (Training provided)
Preferred Skills:
  • Proficiency in using PCs and laptops
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • A commitment to being a collaborative team member in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Possession of a valid Class A CDL
