This pivotal role focuses on the development and management of fixed equipment inspection programs, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Establish and execute a comprehensive fixed equipment inspection strategy across the facility.
  • Oversee the departmental budget and facilitate the training of inspection personnel.
  • Collaborate with various departments to prioritize and streamline inspection schedules.
  • Direct inspection teams and contractors providing Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) services.
  • Contribute to the Fitness for Service program and evaluate inspection methodologies.
  • Assist with inspection requirements for capital projects.
  • Monitor and report on departmental KPIs and performance metrics.
  • Offer technical expertise in quality assurance and control processes.
  • Support maintenance turnarounds and scheduled outages.
  • Engage in process safety management and Management of Change (MOC) activities.
  • Educate field personnel on the integrity of pressure equipment.
  • Identify and implement training programs for Fixed Equipment Inspection staff.
  • Provide constructive feedback and support for employee development.
  • Ensure the timely execution of the inspection program.
  • Assist in the development of expense and capital project proposals.
  • Lead investigations into incidents as necessary.
  • Contribute to strategic planning for fixed equipment reliability initiatives.
