Position: Medical Assistant

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience in a medical assistant role
- Certification as a CMA/RMA is preferred, but non-certified candidates will be considered
- Experience in cardiology is advantageous
- Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Centricity, is a plus

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the assigned physician on a daily basis
- Guide patients to examination rooms
- Document medical histories, review medications, and measure vital signs
- Conduct stress tests, EKGs, and perform phlebotomy
- Follow up on laboratory results
- Manage phone calls and assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as needed
- Aid in scheduling appointments
- Prepare and review assignments for the following day
- Perform additional duties as required
