Responsibilities- Assist Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in performing Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and routine care.
- Conduct resident/patient treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Administer medication in accordance with physician orders and Plan of Care.
- Submit pharmacy orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Accurately document and record all information related to resident care.
- Provide injections of medication as prescribed by physicians.
- Observe resident health and communicate current condition to Registered Nurses (RNs), Supervisors, and Physicians.
- Take vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and weight.
- Provide basic care, including wound cleaning and bandaging.
- Manage IVs, start IV drips, and monitor fluid/food intake and output.
- Observe and report resident accidents, incidents, and the presence of skin breakdowns.
- Assist as directed in the admissions process.
- Current LPN License
