This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial clients.
  2. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and troubleshoot equipment problems.
  3. Assist the HVAC foreman in repairing or replacing faulty components within HVAC systems.
  4. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC equipment to ensure reliability.
  5. Evaluate HVAC systems for safety and efficiency.
  6. Maintain accurate records of service appointments and financial transactions.
  7. Oversee inventory management of tools and HVAC supplies.
  8. Execute the complete installation process of HVAC systems.
  9. Utilize skills from other trades as necessary to fulfill customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  2. Certification from the Environmental Protection Agency for refrigerant handling is mandatory.
  3. Possession of a state HVAC technician license is required.
  4. Preferred: Certification or an associate's degree from an accredited HVAC program.
  5. Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively explain HVAC issues to clients.
  6. Valid state driver's license is essential.
  7. Dependability and punctuality are crucial for managing a schedule with multiple appointments.

Reasoning Skills:

Ability to apply logical reasoning to execute instructions provided in various formats. Capable of addressing problems involving multiple concrete variables in standardized situations.
