PennState Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an Inpatient Nurse in the float resource position. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assess health problems and needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.
In this role, you will administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients, advise them on health maintenance and disease prevention, and monitor their reactions to medications. You will also work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
This is a night shift position, requiring 36 hours of work per week. You will be expected to float in one or more areas, including critical care, emergency department, and/or women's and babies. A current Pennsylvania RN license or multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact is required. BLS certification must be obtained prior to orientation completion.
