Nurse Practitioner Role

About the RoleThis is a regular part-time float position (20 hours/week) supporting our clinics in the Garner area. The schedule is 1-2 weekdays plus every other weekend. As the largest retail healthcare provider in the nation, CVS Health offers a unique opportunity to deliver affordable, accessible, and comprehensive care to our patients, their families, and our communities.
Responsibilities- Provide primary and family evidence-based care, inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning for our patients.
- Perform administrative duties, including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow-up, verifying insurance, and collecting payment.
- Be responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
- Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health, and wellness.
- A minimum of one year experience as a Nurse Practitioner is required.
- Experience in Family medicine or primary care practice is preferred.
- Active Family Nurse Practitioner license in good standing.
