CareStar is seeking a dedicated Support Services Supervisor to oversee the delivery of services and enhance the health, safety, and wellbeing of participants. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to make informed decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage staff, including hiring, firing, and performance evaluations.
- Schedule staff to ensure coverage of programs and responsibilities.
- Makes decisions for elevated situations or issues that arise and resolves them accordingly.
- Completes reports in a timely manner and provides them to the intended individuals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of one year post-degree experience working with individuals with diagnosed chronic conditions or minimum of three years' post-degree experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
- Knowledge of issues affecting people with severe and persistent mental illness and community-based interventions/resources for those individuals.
- Effective interpersonal (oral and written) skills to interact professionally and ethically with all age groups from a diverse population.
- Familiarity with suite of Microsoft Office programs.
- Valid driver's license and car insurance as required by State law.
