Position: Family Nurse Practitioner – Paragon Infusion Centers
Location: Candidates should be located within a 50-mile radius or a 1-hour commute of the designated area.

The Family Nurse Practitioner – Paragon Infusion Centers plays a crucial role in delivering patient care within the defined scope of practice in a clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Administering prescribed therapies in accordance with physician orders, facility protocols, and company policies.
- Facilitating the admission process as directed by the Center Director.
- Conducting thorough physical assessments for each patient as necessary, particularly for new consultations based on patient diagnosis.
- Referring to the on-duty Nurse Practitioner for comprehensive physical evaluations as required.
- Documenting all relevant information in the patient's medical records.
- Reporting significant changes or observations to the Center Director and ensuring follow-up on identified issues.
- Effectively communicating with the IV team regarding patient status and observations.
- Upholding patient confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations at all times.
- Evaluating and documenting the patient's response to therapy in the medical record.
- Educating patients and their families about the therapy plan.
- Participating in the Quality Improvement program.
- Ensuring all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and current prior to treatment.
- Engaging in the On-Call program, which may involve after-hours, weekend, and holiday responsibilities.
- Providing clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on leave and supporting new market initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- An MS in Nursing with a minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience as a nurse practitioner, or a combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
- At least 1 year of experience with intravenous therapies is required.
- A current, active, valid, and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the applicable state is mandatory.
- Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification is required.
- Multi-state licensure is necessary if providing services across multiple states.
- Completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccination or signed waiver is required for this position.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- May require significant travel to various work sites as necessary.
- A minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience with intravenous therapies is strongly preferred.
