Overview: In this role, the selected candidate will prioritize safety for themselves and their colleagues. A strong background in mold installation techniques is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of the five critical processing parameters to ensure the production of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Emphasize safe working practices and provide processes and data to maintain an injury-free workplace.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and take initiative in establishing and following Safe Work Procedures.
  • Engage in safety evaluations of both new and existing secondary equipment.
  • Contribute to the inspection, installation, and setup of new molds.
  • Exhibit proficient troubleshooting abilities and technical skills to systematically analyze tooling, processes, and machinery to resolve current issues or implement new processes.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to support new process development and enhance Plant Productivity initiatives.
  • Work alongside Shift Process Technicians to optimize the efficiency of current processes.
  • Understand the Quality system and be capable of interpreting data relevant to the molding process.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of five years of hands-on experience in the field.
  • A technical degree of at least two years is preferred.
  • Successful completion of Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude assessments is required.
  • Familiarity with the IQMS system and basic computer skills are necessary.
