Job Description

As a Lead Barista at Kroger, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products. You will be the face of our coffee shop, and your role will be to create a welcoming and inviting atmosphere for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a positive experience.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food products to our customers.
  • Manage the coffee shop floor, including maintaining a clean and organized environment.
  • Supervise and train baristas to ensure that they are providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality products.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and stocking supplies.
  • Assist with scheduling and staffing, including covering shifts and managing employee schedules.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of new menu items and promotions.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a customer-facing role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Knowledge of coffee and food preparation methods.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
