Electrical Systems Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at AKIMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze drawings and diagrams to identify electrical system requirements and plan installations.
- Inspect and test electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
- Identify and repair electrical faults, including wiring, switches, and circuit breakers.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and lubricating electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects and ensure electrical systems are integrated correctly.
- Document and record work completed, including maintenance and repairs.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Basic knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
- Valid driver's license.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Journeyman level electrician certification.
- Currently licensed general electrician in the state of California.
