About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Air Quality Consultant to join our team at WSP. As a key member of our air quality team, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and support to clients on air permitting and compliance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage air quality projects, including client communication, budgets, scope, and billing
  • Provide senior review and technical guidance on air permitting, air emissions estimation, dispersion modeling, and regulatory interpretation
  • Mentor and train junior staff members on air quality regulations, modeling techniques, air permitting, and emissions calculations
  • Participate in compliance audits and meetings with regulatory agencies
  • Prepare and review technical reports
  • Lead complex air consulting proposal efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in environmental engineering
  • Professional Engineer license required
  • Strong understanding of federal and state air quality regulations, including PSD, NSR, and Title V
  • Proficiency in air dispersion modeling software (e.g., AERMOD, CALPUFF) and emissions calculations tools
