Key Responsibilities:
As an Automotive Sales Specialist, you will guide customers through a comprehensive purchasing process, adhering to established sales protocols and procedures. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Developing and communicating extensive product knowledge regarding vehicle features.
2. Demonstrating vehicle operation both in the showroom and during test drives.
3. Ensuring a seamless delivery process for new vehicles, ensuring customers understand the vehicle's features, warranty, and necessary documentation.
4. Implementing a follow-up system to foster repeat business and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
5. Creating a prospecting strategy that includes outreach to potential customers through calls and emails to schedule appointments.
6. Closing sales effectively.
7. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- A preference for candidates with a two to four-year college degree.
- 2-5 years of experience in automotive sales and customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- A background in automotive sales is advantageous.
- Knowledge of new vehicle technologies and mechanical operations.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and negotiation skills.
- A self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude with a positive presence in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A professional appearance and work ethic.
