Job Title: Production Senior Operator

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems is seeking a highly skilled Production Senior Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for setting up and operating automatic or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make minor adjustments and repairs to equipment.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5 years' experience in a production environment
  • OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Vocational/Technical Training Degree
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to gather and document information
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds
  • May need to stand for long periods at a time
  • Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities
