Job Title: Lead Project Engineer

Wright-Pierce, a leading environmental engineering firm, is seeking a highly skilled Lead Project Engineer to join our Burlington, Vermont office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the planning, design, and construction administration of drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, design, and construct drinking water source, distribution, storage, and treatment projects.
  • Develop hydraulic designs for pumps and piping systems.
  • Prepare drawings and specifications for bid.
  • Ensure timely communication with internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • Manage project schedules and quality control.
  • Write technical reports, cost proposals, and other key communications.
  • Mentor junior-level staff.
Requirements:
  • 7 years of engineering experience with drinking water projects.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam preferred.
  • B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
