Nutrition Services Coordinator

As a Nutrition Operator with Morrison Healthcare, you will play a vital role in ensuring patients receive personalized dining experiences that meet their nutritional needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities:- Secure patient meal selections and special requests via telephone or face-to-face interactions.
- Offer alternatives to menu items as allowed on prescribed diets, taking into account food allergies, sensitivities, cultural, ethnic, and religious preferences.
- Respond promptly to patient needs, resolving concerns or complaints immediately and reporting necessary assistance to supervisors as needed.
- Comply with dietary restrictions on special and modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
- Interact with nursing staff to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and their food needs are met.
- Adhere to facility confidentiality and patient rights policies as outlined in the facility's HIPAA policies and procedures.
- Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
- Complete daily, weekly, or monthly reports as outlined in corporate policies and procedures on a timely basis, meeting all prescribed deadlines.
