As a Surgical Technologist at HCA Florida West Hospital, you will play a crucial role in assisting the multi-disciplinary healthcare team in clinical support functions and promoting a safe, compassionate patient care environment.


Job Summary:


We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to assist in various surgical procedures, demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform scrub duties for various surgical procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge and application of sterile technique, instruments, and supplies needed for surgical cases
  • Communicate and participate in patient care activities in direct conjunction with the RN

Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:



  • Graduation from a Surgical Technician program or LPN program
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider) certification
  • LPN Licensure in Florida (for LPN candidates)
  • Previous scrubbing experience preferred
  • Previous experience as a sterile processing technician preferred
  • Surgical Technologist Certification preferred

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
