Job Overview

Position Summary

In this role, you will provide essential support to the leadership team within the Loan Servicing division. Your responsibilities will encompass staff assistance and management of processes related to DMV services, Collateral Protection, and Credit Reporting. You will collaborate closely with department leadership to ensure smooth operations and effective training programs while maintaining up-to-date departmental procedures and compiling relevant statistical data for management review.

Qualifications

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a minimum of five years in a financial institution and at least two years in a Loan Servicing role. Candidates should possess two years of supervisory experience, strong analytical capabilities, and exceptional organizational skills. You should demonstrate outstanding member service abilities and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Comprehensive knowledge of credit union products, Loan Servicing operations, and relevant regulations is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and core lending systems is expected, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills and effective interpersonal collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Focusing on delivering superior member service, the Loan Servicing Team Leader will oversee various departmental functions, particularly in DMV services, Collateral Protection Insurance, and Credit Reporting. You will manage title and registration servicing while fostering effective relationships with Title and Lien origination, dealers, regulatory bodies, and members. Additionally, you will provide backup support for Collateral Protection Insurance, including add-ons and refunds, and liaise with vendors and members as necessary. Your role will involve analyzing Loan Servicing processes and offering recommendations to department staff and leadership. You will also be responsible for creating, updating, and reviewing various Loan Servicing reports, communicating results to management as needed.
