Job Title: Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Technician to join our team at VCA California Veterinary Specialists of Ontario. As a key member of our Surgery Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our Boarded Surgeons and critical care team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anesthesiology monitoring, including blood pressure, CO2, SpO2, invasive blood pressure monitoring, and ventilator setup and management.
  • Calculating and administering multiple CRIs, performing hands-free radiographs, and surgical preparation for soft tissue and orthopedic procedures.
  • Drawing blood, placing IV catheters, sedation, and intubation.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent; college degree desirable.
  • Certification as a registered veterinary technician (RVT) required.
  • Experience in a specialty surgery department or critical care environment, with a strong background in anesthetic skills for advanced procedures.
