Job Title: Hemodialysis Technician - Patient Care Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Hemodialysis Technician to join our team at Ontario Holt Dialysis Center. As a Hemodialysis Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient care and related duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.
  • Assess assigned patients before and after each treatment, initiate, monitor, and terminate dialysis treatment.
  • Consult with the R.N. on all aspects of patient care and execute the plan of nursing care for each patient as directed.
  • Administer Xylocaine, Heparin, and Normal Saline under the supervision of an R.N. or M.D.
  • Conform to the established policies and procedures of the facility.
  • Perform patient care or other duties as assigned by the Charge Nurse or Director of Nursing.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Prior patient care or medical-related experience preferred.
  • Current certification as a Patient Care Technician by the State of CA.
  • Maintains CPR certificate.
